I hope everyone had a fun and joyful Valentine’s Day this year. While I am always super bummed that Valentine’s Day usually happens on a workday I can say that I had a pretty good one.

My partner and I made the decision to order in this year instead of going out to a restaurant when every other person was also trying to go out. We’ve done the whole traditional Valentine’s Day many times before and I can say that I much prefer how we decided to celebrate. We got to actually relax and enjoy our food without feeling rushed and actually spend time together, which I always appreciate.

We’re still going to go out, but we’ll wait a few days when the crowds have calmed down a bit and can actually really enjoy being out without being stressed about work. But even without going out I’m still happy with what we did. I’m also really happy with the gift I received and am excited to post the final product soon.

As everyone probably knows by now, one of my favorite hobbies is my plants. My partner obviously knows this as they can see the jungle all around them so they decided to add to my collection by getting me a Victorian inspired terrarium for me to grow and enclosed garden in.

Since the unwrapping, I’ve been happily researching everything that goes into it and what plants would be best suited for it. Hopefully by this weekend I’ll have everything needed to set it up and can share with you all.
