As everyone can clearly see my March is very obviously going well which is why this is so late in coming out. In case it’s hard to tell this is sarcasm. This month has been nothing but stressful and unfortunately, I know that the stress will continue for the foreseeable future. I swear one day I’ll get this thing right and get my list out at a reasonable time. With that being said, here’s my March reading list. Keep a look out over the next few days for my review of my February book list.
Daughters of Sparta by Claire Heywood
For my first book I’m choosing Daughters of Sparta by Claire Heywood. I always love reimagining’s of well-known tales from the perspective of women so I thought this would fit the bill.
This book has always been on my reading list, and I was just looking for an excuse to finally read it. I have always been a big fan of the Hannibal Lecter series and its multiple reiterations and swore to myself that I would eventually read the book series. After finishing this book and hopefully the rest of the book series, I’m interested in seeing how it compares to the show and movies that I love.
Becoming Kin: An Indigenous Call to Unforgetting the Past and Reimagining Our Future by Patty Krawec
I actually saw this recommended while perusing the Libby app for a new read and I saw this on one of the librarian recommended lists and thought that I would give it a try. I try to always incorporate into my reading perspectives that I may not be wholly familiar with and thought this would make for an interesting read.
Now that’s my reading list for the month of March. Let me know in the comments what you think. What’s on your reading list? Let me know below!
…And with that, happy reading!
