What’s On My Reading List this February

As part of my ongoing resolution to myself I am here today to announce my reading list for this February. For February, I wanted to switch gears a little bit from fantasy to more modern, non-fiction picks since I guess I was missing my podcasts. Keep a look out for my review of how each book went in January coming out in the next few days.

1.) The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith

The Wealth of Nations a book by Adam Smith and Alan B. Krueger (bookshop.org)

For my first pick I’m choosing The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. This was always a book that I’ve heard about and seen referenced in other works that I’ve read so I figured it was finally time to give it a spin.

2.) Democracy at Work by Dr. Richard D. Wolff

Now Dr. Richard D. Wolff’s podcast Economic Update is one of my personal favorites so I wanted to give this a try.

3.) Spare by Prince Harry

So Spare was simply a meme pick. I don’t know if you’re like my but a few weeks ago my TikTok feed was filled with nothing but excerpts and content about this book. I, like many others, have always been intrigued by the Royal Family so I wanted to see more about what was going on firsthand.

4.) Are Prisons Obsolete? by Angela Y. Davis

I have always been a personal admirer of Angela Y. Davis and just inspired by her work. This book was on my back log so I’m happy I’m finally getting the opportunity to read it.

So that’s my book list for the month. Some tips I’ve learned along the way is if you’re a book reader or even an audiobook reader, download the Libby App. This app is free and let’s you connect with your library card to check out from a catalog of thousands of books for free. We all know reading can be an expensive hobby over time, but it doesn’t have to be.

Let me know in the comments below what you think and let me know what’s on your list this month! Here’s to another good month!

  1. […] As everyone can clearly see my March is very obviously going well which is why this is so late in coming out. In case it’s hard to tell this is sarcasm. This month has been nothing but stressful and unfortunately, I know that the stress will continue for the foreseeable future. I swear one day I’ll get this thing right and get my list out at a reasonable time. With that being said, here’s my March reading list. Keep a look out over the next few days for my review of my February book list. […]
